VOTE PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY AT FALAKATA AND ALIPURDUAR TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Falakata 17th April, 2016: This year at Alipurduar and Falakata the assembly election ended quite peacefully. In Alipurduar district elections were held in 5 assembly constituencies today. The number of booths in the district was 1302 and the total number of voters was 1108759. Among these 12 people belonged from the third gender. On the other hand at Falakata assembly constituency the number of booths were 262. Among these 4 booths were made into model booths, 2 were women administered booths. In an unfortunate incident, an election worker died of a heart attack.
